An A2 Key qualification is proof of your ability to use English to communicate in simple situations. The exam tests the four English language skills:  Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking. The whole exam takes about 2 hours.

A B1 Preliminary qualification shows that you have mastered the basics of English and now have practical language skills for everyday use. This is the brige between the A2 level and B2 level. The whole exam takes about 2 hours 20 minutes.

The scale for this level: 140-159

A B2 First qualification proves you have the language skills to live and work independently in an English-speaking country or study on courses being taught in English. The whole exam takes about 3.5 hours.

The scale for this level: 160-179

It is the in-depth, high-level qualification that shows you have the language abilities and skills that employers and universities are looking for. Preparing for C1 Advanced helps you develop the skills to make the most of learning, studying, working and living in English-speaking countries. The whole exam takes about 4 hours.
